Today someone at the Centre referred to me as 'kit' -- which is neat, that someone remembered my online alias... Though I'm so not used to that. I was too unmotivated to correct her though XD
On the other hand, I have serious problems with people using my real name in public places online (mostly IRC. LJ I don't care, as long as it's not my full name... God knows how much I show up on a Google search >_<). It happened mainly on MagicStar, and even though I'm 21, I still have severe issues with giving out my real name online. (And yet, I don't want to lie when people ASK... lol. Though I only do that now because I feel safer being 21 as opposed to 12.)
I also realize some people's online names are also what they'd prefer to be called. I respect this if I know (or if it turns me on, calling them that... *ahem*)
